With scrapbooking you can have fun and explore various ideas.

You can even upload your scrapbook and have copies published for the family on sites such as Shutterfly and Walmart.com

Some ways are:

  1. Include pictures of various generations
  2. Use clip art that tells a story—for example if an ancestor came over by ship you can use a lighthouse or ship wheel and anchor; if an ancestor was a pilgrim you can use thanksgiving stickers; or if an ancestor worked in a mill you can use a loom.
  3. Write a brief story to share for each ancestor
  4. Provide a list of interesting tidbits about each family member—such as occupation, hobbies, accomplishments, etc.
  5. Include favorite recipes—whether it was a favorite dish to eat or a favorite dish to bake.
