Checking the Weather

Recently, I was reading a tip from another genealogy blogger, who mentioned checking the weather for a specific date or event.  This researcher primarily referred to when ancestors arrived at Ellis Island for the first time.

This was a unique and wonderful idea I’d not thought of before.

My mind began to churn and I thought of other interesting events we may want to check the weather for.

1. Wedding Date
2. Date of birth
3. Date of death or funeral
4. Travel dates
5. Date became a US Citizen
6. Date of a groundbreaking or family reunion
7. Other Special Events

What other dates would you check the weather of your ancestor?
