I have been in the process of moving and it made me think about genealogy research.
I have moved so much that I actually keep a list of all of the places where I have lived.
However, what about discovering where our ancestors lived?
There are several ways to do this.
- Start with census records. This gives an idea where they lived every ten years.
- From there you can check any letters or cards that may have been passed down.
- Check pictures for houses and addresses of where your ancestors may have lived
- Check city directories for the exact address of where your ancestor lived.
Have you charted an ancestors move?
