Searching missing infants burial places

My grandparents had several stillbirths before Daddy was born

Papa used to talk about where they buried one of the infants before World War II.  However, after he returned from the war, he could not remember where the child had been buried.

A search of church records did not turn up the needed information, because the church did not record this information at the time.

Often it is difficult to find missing infants.

A death certificate will provide the name of the cemetery, but we already knew where the infant was buried.

I had one researcher share, that they were searching for an missing infant who died.  Through research they were able to discover where the child was buried and place a grave marker as a memory for the child.

Are you searching for missing infants in your family?
